Alexis Haskins

 

Hi! My name is Alexis Haskins, and I’m excited to begin my first year of teaching as a co-teacher in Social Studies and Math. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive classroom where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

I earned my Associate of Science degree from South Georgia State College and my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education – General Curriculum from the University of Georgia. I’m also a proud graduate of Atkinson County High School, and it’s a special honor to return as a teacher to the place that helped shape who I am today.

Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud parent of three amazing kids—two daughters and one son—who keep me on my toes and inspire me every day.

I’m looking forward to a great year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connections with my students and their families!

¡Hola! Me llamo Alexis Haskins y estoy emocionada de comenzar mi primer año como profesora adjunta de Estudios Sociales y Matemáticas. Me encanta ayudar a todos los estudiantes a sentirse bienvenidos y apoyados para que puedan dar lo mejor de sí mismos.

Estudié en South Georgia State College, donde obtuve mi título de Asociado en Ciencias, y luego en la Universidad de Georgia, donde obtuve mi Licenciatura en Educación Especial. También me gradué de la Escuela Secundaria del Condado de Atkinson, así que es muy especial volver a enseñar en la misma escuela donde estudié.

Fuera de la escuela, soy la orgullosa madre de tres hijos maravillosos —dos niñas y un niño— que siempre me mantienen ocupada y me llenan de orgullo.

¡Estoy emocionada por un gran año de aprendizaje, crecimiento y trabajo en equipo con mis estudiantes y sus familias!
