Biography - My name is Stephanie Deas and this is my twenty-ninth year as a science teacher. I began my career at Jenkins County High School before finding my professional home at Atkinson County High School. I have taught biology, physical science, and human anatomy and physiology to grades ten through twelve. I was honored to be named Atkinson County High School Teacher of the Year in 2012, 2019, and 2025, as well as Atkinson County School System Teacher of the Year in 2019.

Education - My passion for teaching began in childhood, leading me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in secondary education at Georgia Southern University. Nine years later, I obtained a Master’s degree in education from Cambridge College. Certifications - I am certified to teach science in grades 6-12 and ESOL in grades P-12.
